What's the top speed and how many gears do the bikes have?
You can use your Blix Bike as either a standard bicycle without any electronic assistance or as an electric bike with functions like pedal assist and a throttle. Since you have the option to use the bike in either fashion, there are two different systems for increasing speed and ease of use.
If you want to use the bike as a standard bicycle, you can change the PAS (the Blix Pedal Assist System) to 0. This will allow you to ride it like a non-electric bike while still having the benefit of the front light and brake light. Blix Bikes use 7-speed Shimano drivetrains, so you can freely shift between each gear according to your needs.
By turning the PAS above 0, you can gradually turn up the level of assistance given by the motor. There are 5 levels of pedal assist that you can choose from. The top speed per pedal assist mode is located below:
PAS 1 - 10.5 mph
PAS 2 - 12 mph
PAS 3 - 13.5 mph
PAS 4 - 15 mph
PAS 5 - 20 mph
